Department of Information

The Department of Information is one of the core departments in the Dominion of Spheres, headed by Anansi. The Department of Information does not typically engage directly in the management of Fractures. Instead, they specialize in recording information about Fractures, to aid in their identification and prevention. The Department of Information is in charge of the creation and maintenance of the Archives of the Universe. This is a herculean task, since the Archives are an ancient and disorganized mess, which only Anansi seems to understand completely.

When the Department of Information does dispatch agents, it is usually to prove or disprove uncertainties in the Archives, or to fill in blank spaces. These dispatches invariably involve collaboration with other departments.
